«When the sky was filled with colors. When the beach was covered with gold sand.
A place was born for our most beautiful and Intense moments….»
Vatheia may be the most impressive and picturesque village in Mani and could be characterized as the Parthenon of local architecture. It has many well-maintained towers built like a fort, which had been redecorated by the National Organization of Tourism in the 80’s and they had been used as pensions for a while. In Vatheia there are many churches that were built with materials from the ancient city Kainipolis, which was in the area nearby.
